46th Annual Bach Marathon—Live!
After a Covid-19 hiatus, and a virtual presentation last year, the annual Bach Marathon from the Music at St. David’s series is returning to St. David’s in Roland Park. I spoke with Director of Music Ministries, Douglas Buchanan.
Music at St. David’s opens its 2021-2022 season
The first two concerts of the Music at St. David’s season (live with Covid protocols in place + streaming) will feature their ensemble in residence, Pique Collective (October 1), and honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day (October 10). Douglas Buchanan is the Director of Music Ministries.
St. David’s commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the 1918 Armistice
Michael Rickelton’s Battle Songs will set the stage for the premiere of Andrew Maxfield’s choral setting of Eleanor Farjeon’s poem Peace as the St. David’s Music Series marks the 1918 Armistice. Douglas Buchanan is the Director of Music Ministries at St. David’s.
