This week Mary and I review two really nice Syrahas from the Rhone!
1)2007 Domaine de Piaugier Cote Du Rhone Village. $20. The village in question was Sablet. 2007 was a super good year and Domaine de Piaugier decided to release a little at a time…BWYEC (Buy With Your Eyes Closed).
2)2009 Domaine Belle Crozes-Hermitage Les Pierrel. $27. If you are looking for an old world Syrah with new world ripeness…BWYEC (Buy With Your Eyes Closed). Not a lot of wine comes out of Crozes Hermitages…go for it…but check out our show first!
