6-4-12 Word On Wine 2 Diverse Wines From Italy!
This morning Mary and I review two Italian reds…One from the North East of Italy and the other from Sicily. Our first wine was a nice entry level Amarone! This wine made from raisins is one of the great noble Italian wines. Our example was the 2006 Corte Majoli Amarone $38. (Not a lot to pay for a good Amarone…Those raisins are great but don’t come cheap!
Our second wine was from bella Sicilia it was produced in the shadow of smoking Mt. Aetna…2009 Etna Rosso produced by Tenuta Della Terre Nere. The grape was Nerello Mascalese and it will set you back a mere $18. Big mouthy and downright fun! Check out show by clicking below!
