This weekend the amazing Anne-Sophie Mutter is playing Beethoven with the BSO.  She has recorded this concerto twice and both recordings are amazing.  I can’t wait to hear her with the BSO Kati and I are going Sunday.  We had a great talk about her instrument and the concerto itself.  The excerpts used in the interview are from the Masur recording.
