5-23-20 Music in Maryland…Performances From Peabody
This week we are fortunate to have some super nice live performances from Peabody. (Full disclosure my Alma Mater!) We have live performances of the Shostakovich Piano Trio No. 2 and Richard Strauss’ Death and Transfiguration. The Shostakovich featured violinist Judith Ingolfsson, cellist Alan Stepansky and pianist Vladimir Stoupel. The Strauss featured the Peabody Symphony conducted by Edward Polochick. We also heard Peabody faculty members Manuel Barrueco and Leon Fleisher in studio recordings!
