6-15-19 Music In Maryland Baltimore Chamber Orchestra’s New Concert Master!
This year the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra auditioned various candidates for Concert Master to replace Madeline Adkins. The winner was Audrey Wright the Assistant Principal Violin of the Baltimore Symphony. She performed Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 in a concert at Goucher College’s Kraushaar Auditorium on March 24, 2019. Also on the program was Carl Nielsen’s Little Suite for Strings and Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings. After the concert we played Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet with Clarinetist Robert DiLutis and the Mellifera String Quartet. It’s a great performance pressed on to an LP! A fine blast from the past.
