8-26-17 Music In Maryland. Getting ready for the Fall BSO season!
This week we feature a recording with Winton Marsalis who is performing at the BSO Gala on 9/9. We also have a live recording of Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony which will be performed on the orchestra’s first subscription concert. BSO principal cellist Darius Skoracewski just released a set of Bach cello suites and we played the sixth! Finally a vintage BSO performance from the Comissiona days of the Mendelssohn Reformation Symphony. A nice two hours worth of music.
