Vocalise 11-21-15
Sir Edward Elgar and his wife Alice were big fans of Bavaria, the people, countryside and folk dancing, the Schuhplattler! Alice Elgar wrote poems about their time in Bavaria, and Elgar set her words to choral music. We’ll enjoy that and other “pastoral” music on Vocalise!
