8-29-15 Music In Maryland BSO Centennial Tribute…Off The Beaten Path
I guess is you live under a classical music rock you aren’t aware that the Baltimore Symphony is celebrating their centennial. We have some really nice and unusual recordings from the Zinman era which show what an amazing orchestra this is. We start out with a very bouncy Michael Torke and then move to contemplative Elgar and finally spiritual Taverner. I think it makes for a very nice two hours of music…but then again I chose it so I would. Here are the listings…hope you enjoy the show.
