7-27-15 Word On Wine House of Mandela Deep River Blends.
This week Mary and I review 2 wines from the House of Mandela winery in South Africa. The winery was set up by Nelson Mandela’s daughter and grand daughter to honor their father and grandfather. All wines from the winery are fair trade. We reviewed two blends from the Deep River collection. Both cost $11. The white was 80% Chenin Blanc and 20% Chardonnay and the red was 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Both were very nice entry level wines.
