6-15-15 Word On Wine 2 Wines From Porter creek
This week Mary and I reviewed 2 wines from Porter Creek Winery in California. http://www.portercreekvineyards.com/pages/wines_main.html
Both were nice but the Carignane was nicer!
1)2010 Old Vine Carignane from Mendocino County. $25. Really nice Chewy and frankly delightful. Good Balance of fruit and structure.
2)2010 Porter Creek Zinfandel. $36. Big and bountiful…a bit of green pepper and at that price there are lots of options…However, worth considering if you are a Zin fan.
