1)2009 Clos La Coutale Cahors. 85% Malbec and 15% Merlot. $16 Behold old world Malbec! This is pretty rough and ready but not as rough as Cahors has been in the past. Here is a nice link to Kermit Lynch for more information. http://kermitlynch.com/our_wines/clos-la-coutale/
2)2012 Palmina Arneis. Santa Inez, California. $18. This was a bigger version of the favorite from Piemonte! I really enjoyed it! Here’s a link to the winery…they are making some very interesting things!
