1-6-14 Word On Wine Review 2 American Favs!
This week Mary and I review two wines from the good old USA!
1)2010 Wildwood Pinot Noire from from Oregon. $15. Mary had this at Thanksgiving and was very impressed. It’s hard to find good pinot at this price point so I say Mazel Tov!
2)2012 Dry Creek Fume Blanc from Sonoma County. This Sauvignon Blanc is oak aged and has all the richness it should have. This would be the exact opposite of Sancerre from the Loire Valley and yet I found it satisfying…particularly at this time of the year!
