4-24-21 MuSic in Maryland…Bay Atlantic Symphony Orchestra.

This week we have the privilege of having a live recording of the Brahms Fourth Symphony featuring the Bay Atlantic Symphony Orchestra from neighboring New Jersey.  The Music Director of the BASO is Jed Gaylin and he is a Baltimorean who also is Music Director of the Hopkins Orchestra.  Very grafeful for the performance which was recorded at the Stockton Performing Arts Center at Stockton University.

Also on the program tonight Baltimore composer Jonathan Leshnoff’s Guitar Concerto, Peabody faculty member pianist Richard Goode playing Schubert’s Piano Sonata D. 958 and The Baltimore Symphony playing selections from Hector Berlioz’s Les Troyens.
