This week the BSO announced that Marin Alsop would end her tenure as Music Director in August of 2021. Maestra Alsop has been with the orchestra for 14 years and they have been good ones by and large. March 12 – 14 she will be conducting Mahler 3 with the BSO. We feature Leonard Bernstein’s classic recording.
