12-5-20 Music In Maryland. Candlelight Concerts. Pacifica Quartet and Richard Goode
This week we dip into the vault of the Candlelight Concert Society in Columbia for an all Beethoven concert featuring the Pacifica Quartet. The concert was recorded on January 23, 2010. On the program Beethoven’s String Quartet op. 18 No. 6, op. 74, ‘Harp’ and op. 135.
This week the Peabody Conservatory announced that Richard Goode would be joining their faculty. We have the pleasure of a live recording of Beethoven’s op. 110 from a Candlelight recital.
