7-1-19 Word On Wine Bellinis!
Invented in Harry’s Bar in Venice the Bellini has to be the easiest cocktail to make. All you need is equal parts Prosecco (use a good super dry one) and peach nectar. I made Mary two variations on the theme…I added gin to the classic cocktail and also used white grape juice instead of peach juice. Also, using lemon helps a lot it cuts down on the sweetness and balances the cocktail!
By the way…(this is mentioned in the show) I always thought this was named for the composer Vincenzo Bellini…it’s not. Check out the show to find out who it’s actually named for!
