This week we are broadcasting a live performance from the Peabody Conservatory with Marin Alsop conducting the Peabody Symphony in Mahler’s Symphony # 1. The concert was recorded at the Miriam A Friedberg Concert Hall on September 28, 2017. We also used excerpts from Hillary Hahn’s new Retrospective recording, The Baltimore Symphony with Sergiu Comissiona playing Ravel and Peabody Faculty member violist Victoria Chiang rounded things off!
