7-27-17 Word On Wine Sonoma Visit
To Celebrate our first Anniversary Kati and I flew to Chicago, stayed at The Drake Hotel for a night and then took the train to San Francisco! It took two days and was fabulous. We then found ourselves with two days to spend in wine country. We arbitrarily chose Sonoma and off we went to stay in the town of Glen Ellen at the Olea Hotel. Unlike my brother Eric who loves the outdoors I prefer hotels! That’s just me…we weren’t roughing it! Kati wanted to visit some wineries and I thought it would be great to visit two that were completely different. We visited Loxton Cellars and the Benziger family winery. We bought a case of the Loxton which we will eventually review on Word On Wine.
