7-3-17 Word On Wine…Zibibbu!
Just What is Zibibbu and what does it want of us! It’s a grape that is known as Muscat of Alexandria and a has million other names! Mary found a couple of nice wines, one which is unusual and the other more mainstream….both were lovely and around $15 – $17.
Our first wine was called Jasmin and came from the Firriato winery in Trapani…the extreme west of Sicily. (sigh) Super flowery and nice. Very perfumy as well.
Our second wine was from Burgundy and the producer was Domaine Daniel Pollier. This came from Pouilly Fuisse…The grape is Chardonnay and this was wonderful. Check out our show.
