1-14-17 Music In Maryland Candlelight Concerts/Modigliani Quartet.
This week Music in Maryland is broadcasting a concert featuring the excellent Modigliani String Quartet. The concert featured the Mozart K. 575, the Brahms first quartet and the Ravel quartet. Here is a copy of the original program and some information about the quartet.

To fill we used a recording of Jonathan Leshnoff’s first symphony. Originally I had planned to have Jonathan Leshnoff’s oratorio Zohar this week, but I ran out of time. Next week I will broadcast the oratorio plus the second half of our interview.
