10-17-16 Word On Wine. New World Magic!
This week Mary and I review two new world wines which were lovely examples of what we do well in the good old USA! I admit I am a little old world obsessed with wine…particularly France…so it’s good to branch out. We salute the great wine making in the good old USA.
1)2012 Maldonado Family Vineyard Pinot Noire. Sonoma County. $18. Super smooth and silky. Great value.
2)Though it looks like it stepped out of Breaking Bad it’s actually a really nice Washington State Cabernet. Not too heavy…Not too Jammy…Not too sharp. Just right. $17.
Here’s our show! Enjoy!
