Honoring Two Great Ladies of Music
In honor of Black History Month, Baltimore Concert Opera is presenting This Little Light of Mine: The Stories of Marian Anderson and Leontyne Price. Commissioned by Cincinnatti Opera, this one-woman “live documentary” will be performed by its creator, critically acclaimed soprano and narrator Adrienne Danrich. Recently, I had the pleasure of speaking to Julia Cooke, Baltimore Concert Opera’s Executive Director, about the production.
