8-24-15 Word On Wine Review 2 White Wines From Portugal!

We often thing of Portugal exclusively for Port wines and Vino Verde, but recently the red and white table wines have been making a great impression.  Mary went to the wine store and found a very nice white wine from the Douro area as well as an Albarinho.

1)2013 Riserva Casa Ferreirinha Plan Alto.  $15.  Super nice for the price and frankly just super nice.  Here is their web site take a look!  If it isn’t at your wine store order some!  These people have been making wine since 1751 they must know something…

2)Nortico Alvarinho.  I didn’t taste this but I will take Mary’s word for it.  I looked at the website and frankly it looks yummy.  Take a look yourself.  I always enjoy Alvarinho and look forward to this one.
