11-7-15 Word On Wine 2 Cold Weather Whites.

This week Mary takes one for the team and tastes two cold weather whites.  The Riesling was particularly fabulous…I am only the slightest bit jealous.

1)2013 Seebrich Niersteiner Hipping Riesling Spatlese.  Mary loved this especially with Asian food.  A mere 8.5% alcohol and a total treat.  At $15 a steal!

2)2012 Kientzler Pinot Blanc.  Alsace.  $17.  This was quite fine but could have used a bit more fruit…nevertheless like pretty much all wine from Alsace it was tasty.
