It’s Not Always Good To Be The King
Spotlighters Theatre is presenting Jonas David Grey’s adaptation of Christopher Marlowe’s Edward II through June 22. Though both the original script and the historical events it chronicles date back centuries, the play proves that history is cyclical and that issues of patriotism, family duty, and prejudice are timeless.
I recently met with Jonas David Grey, who is portraying Edward II in this production, as well as Brad Norris, the show’s director.
