7-7-14 Word On Wine 2 Cabs! (Almost)

This week Mary each took a Cab!  We tasted Cabernet Sauvignon from the old world and the new!

1)Mary tasted the 2011 Murphy-Goode Cabernet Sauvignon from California.  $15.  Not Mary’s usual thing but she enjoyed this really nice Mid-Week Cab!

2)2009 Chateau Greysac!  Medoc.  This very nice Bordeaux is a relatively new property for the region but they are making very traditional tasting wine.  The blend is actually 58% Merlot and 38% Cab.  The other 4% Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc…That sounds pretty traditional!  Check out the show.  Both wines were nice.
