Little known Verdi opera
I’m sure you are aware by now that 2013 is the 200th anniversary of Verdi’s birth, and we are bound to hear even more Verdi operas than usual. Washington Concert Opera is taking an interesting slant by opening their 2013-2014 season with two little known operas by the great man. On Sunday, they launch their season with I Masnadieri (The Bandits). Tenor, Rolando Sanz, came in to talk about it.
