Okay, I don’t usually follow football. Hope I didn’t cost WBJC any listeners with that admission – I know many of you are passionate sports fans! I am, however, very proud of the Baltimore Ravens for making it to the Super Bowl this year. With that in mind, my husband, Jim, and I joined a couple of singer friends and some BSO players last night to record a Ravens Super Bowl fight song. The tune is a rather famous excerpt from Bizet’s Carmen; the lyrics are by BSO bassist Jonathan Jensen. The BSO is having a social media contest with the San Francisco Symphony in honor of this year’s Super Bowl, so please feel free to share this clip on your social media and encourage your friends to do the same.
