12-2-13 Word On Wine Review 20 Rows Priorat!
This week we have two very interesting reds…Mary and I have both tasted these together and separately.
1)2011 20 Rows Cabernet. This is a good standard reasonably priced Napa Cab. The grapes come from Howell Mountain, St. Helena and Yountville. All in all for between $15 and $20 nicely done. Here’s their web site if you want to have a look. http://www.twentyrows.com/
2)2010 Buil and Gine Priorat. This was a really nice full bodied Spanish red. The grapes were Garnacha and Carignon. Despite a 15% alcohol content it wasn’t the least bit hot. $20 and worth it. Here is their site…You can get it in English Spanish or Catalan! 🙂 http://www.builgine.com/
Enjoy the show!
