Almost All American
Tonight’s Vocalise is as American as an apple pie on Thanksgiving, almost! American composers Barber, Joplin and Copland will make appearances on the program. However, I’ll also have “Goin’ Home” based on the slow movement of Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” written in the U.S.A. and the bawdy “Watkins Ale” with The Baltimore Consort. I hope you will enjoy listening to this post Thanksgiving Vocalise as much as I did preparing it. 🙂
