It Runs in the Family
There are quite a few performers in Jim’s extended family. He’s one of eight kids, all of whom were exposed to music & theater when they were growing up, & many of our nieces & nephews are very talented in those areas. One of them, Laura Whittenberger, is attempting – with considerable success thus far! – to launch a career as an opera singer, & she’s going to be featured as the soprano soloist in Haydn’s Little Organ Mass with Columbia Pro Cantare this coming Sunday, March 18th, at 3pm. When CPC’s Executive Director, Elladean Brigham, came in to chat with me earlier this week, she was quite surprised to learn that Laura & I are related! Here’s a link to our interview about this weekend’s performance:
Columbia Pro Cantare – “Remembrances”
Of course, Jim & I will be there – hope you can make it, too!
