Fall Drive 2012
We came, we saw, we raised $117,000! For the numbers geeks out there (yes Mr. Katz, I’m looking at you!):
- 1052 of you stood up to support the music you love
- 279 of you were NEW members!
- 62 of you pledged using the website
The new Live Challenges were a success! Knowing that there was a chance to double the value of your pledge with the help of some of our generous large donors spurred many into action. Look for Live Challenges to make an appearance at future Drives.
Volunteers were plentiful and (as usual) FABULOUS! Our generous food donors provided FANTASTIC vittles! Over and over we heard from both groups how enjoyable it is to work with the staffers at WBJC. Well, we couldn’t do any of this without YOU!
Overall, we made a little less than we were shooting for ($125k); but we are still proud of how well we did, and how the listeners truly value classical music. Once all the dust settles and the numbers are crunched, I’m sure that we’ll even out with people who responded to the pre-drive mailing.
