11-19-12 Word On Wine Review Schreckbichl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t know what it means but the name sure sounds scary! This week Mary and I review two wines from Schreckbichl from the Alto Adige or if you prefer The Sud Tyrol. Both are nice and worth exploring…good Thanksgiving stuff!
1)2011 Schreckbichl Pinot Grigio! $18. Unlike the usual bland blah Pinot Grigio this had some minerality and some heft. Give it a shot!
2)2011 Schreckbichl Pinot Nero $24. Also worth drinking…a really nice light red…Pinot Noire by any other name…Look these up they were nice!
